copywriter.
storyteller.
ad-maker.
for hire.

There was a time where you could say you’re a Copywriter and people knew exactly what you did. You write ads. You write stuff to make people buy stuff they don’t need.

These days it’s not quite the same anymore. Which actually makes the job more fun. We’re hiding advertising messages under the guise of entertainment. Under the guise of anything, really. Even thinking about that is fun.

I’m quite grateful to have had the opportunity to be a full-time freelancer over the last 8 years, which has opened my eyes to the ways different agencies take on the changes and demands of the new media and the industry. Besides the flexibility, which we all love, freelancing has also given me the opportunity to hop across accounts and agencies, and learn from some of the best Creative Directors, Strategists, Producers & Account Management in the business. At the end of the day, that’s what matters most - working with and being inspired by a team of likeminded creative minds.

If I had to sell myself (which ironically, is harder than I imagined) I would say that I am versatile, adaptable, and friendly. The work I’ve picked for my portfolio is meant to demonstrate the versatility of my writing style, the breadth of work I’ve done, and the projects I’ve really enjoyed working on. And I’m still looking for more.
